19th Century Germany Empire Wood Lacquered Wall Open Library, 1800s

About the Item

Rare piece of furniture of German origin, from the early Empire, in excellent state of conservation, but to be restored, completely removable is a bookcase that will then have to be fixed with stops on the wall, the IDEA of ??putting crystal shelves would make it fantastic. Monumental and visually striking piece of furniture. In solid solid wood, very heavy and well made. A one-of-a-kind piece of furniture. Original lacquering to restore. A few pieces are missing but a skilled and talented restorer will bring it back to its former glory.
