19th Century Open Floor Bookcase

About the Item

A fabulous 19th Century mahogany open floor bookcase, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality with beautifully rich patination and grain. The well figured moulded and stepped cavetto top of rectangular form is raised over an elegantly simple frieze with gorgeous applied flowerhead paterae motif detail above an arrangement of three open book shelves, supported on platform plinth base. Mahogany Type: 'Santos Mahogany'
