This beautiful pair of display cabinets is part of a rare and important Regency-style dining room set in molded, carved oak with curved sides. It served as a silver cabinet. This set is for sale on our website and also includes: - a pair of sideboards - a table (with four raw wood extensions) - a suite of nine chairs (available soon) - a pair of armchairs (available soon) The fine quality of the sculpture comes from the Château de la Haute Forêt in Bréal sous Montfort, and was part of Edouard Nignon's collection. The Château, built in 1857 in a half-Gothic, half-Renaissance style, is listed as a Historic Monument, with its extremely well-preserved interior décor: floors, panelling, ceilings and fireplaces.
