About the Item
For sale is a rare, original Boogie Woogie shelving system from the renowned Italian manufacturer Magis, designed by the iconic Stefano Giovannoni. The piece shown in the photos features a unique yellowish back panel, making it even more distinctive and characterful. The system is fully modular – each element can be purchased separately, so you can add a single module or several units to suit your space and needs.
Boogie Woogie is not just a bookcase – it is a true design statement that highlights the objects placed within, whether books, art pieces, or personal treasures. As the designer himself put it:
"Libraries are generally nicer when they are full of books. However, Boogie Woogie is impressive even when only a few objects or books are placed inside, as its wavy lines and the crossing of vertical and horizontal elements make it a visual attraction on their own."
Dimensions (per module):
Width: approx. 52 cm
Height: approx. 52 cm
Depth: approx. 28 cm
Additional information:
The Boogie Woogie system is fully modular, allowing for flexible expansion or rearrangement.
Perfect for displaying books, decorative objects, and design accessories.
The wavy, glossy surface creates a special play of light and shadow, giving the shelf a sculptural effect even when empty.
It can be used not only vertically, but also horizontally when turned on its side.
Purchase information:
The price is for one module (element).
Please request a quote if you are interested in purchasing multiple modules!
Shipping cost applies to a single module; for multiple modules, shipping can be combined at a better rate.
