Cross Bookcase in Ashwood White by Carlo Contin
About the Item
Bookcase in ashwood, supported and structured by the primary design geometry of a diagonal cross.
The distinctive feature of the Cross bookcase by Carlo Contin for Meritalia is its supporting structure: a diagonal cross of two solid wood elements. This 'cross' is the structure and essence of the object at once. For this reason it is not hidden or camouflaged by the object’s function, and instead it is brought to the fore, and placed on both the front and back of the bookshelf.
Enclosed between the two intersections are extremely lightweight ash wood shelves. Cross can be a markedly stand-alone presence in every interior, but it can also be combined in multiples, exploiting its unexpected geometry to transform any spaces in different arrangements and symbologies.
Care&Maintenance
Especially easy to maintain, dust and stains can be cleaned with a damp non-abrasive cloth if you act immediately.
It is recommended to use an alcohol-free glass cleaner and a non-abrasive cloth.
Do not use abrasive cloths. Do not use soap, it can leave unsightly oily streaks

Leyva High Bookcase in Glossy White Finish by Giuseppe Viganò
By Giuseppe Viganò 1, Saba Italia
Located in Brooklyn, NY
The Leyva table is made of painted iron rod welded into a grille of uniform squares. Sophisticated and unintrusive, Leyva decorates the living room with a light, contemporary touch. The Leyva collection also includes a latticework bookcase with the same design, a cleancut and essential silhouette. Its willowy minimal contours conjure up an airy lightness. Whether it is wall-mounted or free-standing, it will easily blend into any setting. Perfect for modern settings and a seamless solution for industrial surrounds, it could also bestow an unexpected twist on more classical décor. Moveable shelves and the base, for floor version, are in coated sheet metal.
The designer Giuseppe Viganò...
