Early 20th C English Mahogany Stacking Glass Front Bookcase

About the Item

Found in England, this mahogany stacking bookcase made by Minty of Oxford dates from the 1920s. Glass front compartments are designed to look like a row of three large sections on the bottom with two rows of three each smaller sections above, but the glass doors swing open to reveal six compartments total with three longer shelves on one side and three shorter shelves on the other. Marked with maker’s tag. Very good antique condition with age-related scattered minor wear and patina.
