About the Item

Wonderfully made mahogany bookcase from England. The crown adds a lovely touch of elegance tot he top, following down to a bookcase with simple sides and two doors on the front with glazed panels, opening to reveal shelving, which can be moved for larger or smaller books or objects. There are five shelves, four of which can be moved. The bookcase sits upon a lovely and deeper base, with the same simple sides and two doors in the front, made from flame mahogany for a gorgeous design. The doors have cross banded edges to really make the wood graining show up. The base is banded with lovely molding. This is a great bookcase which could also be used for decorative items or china.
