Dazzling French modular wall unit manufactured by Galerie l'Orme in Paris. Executed in solid elm, this modular piece exhibits a sturdy wooden frame with a dynamic grain pattern and joinery that suits the design perfectly, resulting in a subtle and organic appearance. This highly versatile piece of furniture contains two columns with two closed compartments on the bottom, and many changeable shelves diffused over the columns. Due to the open construction, there is plenty of space to display art, books or other special belongings. The application of elm wood in furniture design is considered typical for French modern design. This library unit shows similarities to Pierre Chapo's work and his preferred used materials. Altogether, this unit will bring great joy to every bibliomaniac with a keen eye for French Mid-Century design.
