Large Mahogany Chippendale Period Breakfront Bookcase

About the Item

An important and very impressive 18th century Chippendale period mahogany break fronted bookcase, having dental moulding to the cornice, astragal glazed doors above three large frieze drawers, each with gothic blind fret and the original gilded drop handles. The central drawer opens to reveal a secretaire with drawers and pigeon holes. The cupboards beneath each with adjustable shelves.
