About

Antique French Louis XVI style mahogany bookcase with brass trim, circa 1890-1910. Usually these are just begging to be ebonized, but the quality of this bibliotheque was so high, and the original French polish finish so good, that I could not bring myself to convert it. We have never had this style cabinet in our store built to such high standards. For those of you who appreciate fine cabinetry, made by hand to the highest level of craftsmanship, then you will love this bookcase.
