About the Item

This vintage mid century Danish modern tall and slim rosewood bookcase was designed by Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co. and was made in Denmark circa 1960. The minimalist Scandinavian modern design features clean, geometric lines and the cabinet is impeccably crafted from rosewood with gorgeous natural wood grain. The two-piece cabinet has an upper step-back hutch with three horizontal adjustable and removable shelves, four vertical cubby dividers and one fixed lower shelf. The vertical dividers are adjustable and removable and all three upper shelves are adjustable and removable allowing for interchangeable configurations. The lower cabinet has one door with two adjustable and removable interior shelves. The lower door is lockable with original working key. This versatile cabinet is perfect for home or office; use as bookcase, display cabinet, bar cabinet, open china cabinet, media console, etc. The two-piece construction allows for more convenient transport and storage. Two Hundevad and Danish Control paper stickers and one Hundevad and Danish Control, Made in Denmark stamp on back. Note: We have two additional matching cabinets of varying widths - all three cabinets can be used in combination.
