We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original George III circa 1760 solid mahogany corner cupboard A very good looking and decorative piece, its hard to believe that this has been in use for over 250 years, it’s a testament to how utilitarian and versatile it is We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the timber has a glorious patina that can only be achieved by genuine age and honest use Structurally the cabinet is just fine, at some point there has been a small section cut out of the bottom back most likely to cover a plug socket, its at the bottom back so no one will ever see it, there is also a small piece of replacement beading that has been fitted on the top door, otherwise its 100% perfect for the age Dimensions Height 193.5cm Width 115.5cm Depth 66cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
