Small Transition Bookcase With Support Height Stamped RVLC
About the Item
Exceptional bookcase with support height made of brown Rio rosewood veneer and topped with a red Languedoc marble top, opening two leaves on the front and presenting a beautiful ornamentation of finely chiseled gilt bronze.
Stamped RVLC and Jurande hallmark on the front right upright.
A commissioned piece of furniture, rare within the production of the master cabinetmaker, in particular due to the wood used and the sobriety of the marquetry, but the elegance and perfection of the lines are there to attest to the excellence of this work.
