Victorian Mahogany Three Door Bookcase, 19th Century

Victorian Mahogany three door bookcase A middle of the 19th century Victorian mahogany three door cabinet bookcase. The bookcase has three glazed doors to the top with a glazing bar and scroll decoration to each door. The middle and left hand door opens to a double cabinet with three adjustable shelves. The right hand door opens to a single cabinet that also has adjustable shelves. The cupboard base mirrors the top, a double cupboard with a shelf and a single cupboard to the right with two adjustable shelves. The three cupboard doors have recessed panels and carved scroll decoration matching the top doors. The bookcase sits on a square plinth and has a flared cornice to the glazed top. The bookcase comes in three parts for transport, the base, the glazed top and the cornice. The bookcase is in good condition with a key that works the four locks. The doors to the glazed top have had later knobs fitted at one time which are not there now but have left a mark. (Circa 1850) Measures: Height 235cm (92.5 inches) Width 185cm (72.8 inches) Depth 46cm (18.1 inches).
