18th Century Swedish Gustavian Buffet from Umea Vasterbotten ,Northern Sweden.
An elegant Gustavian period buffet with beautifully carved reeded doorfronts on tapered feets.
These doors open to reveal a painted interior with inner shelves & two drawers offering convenient storage space.
Scraped by hand to its beautiful original color.
Hardware, key and lock original to the piece. The hinges were replaced in the late 19th Century.
Made in painted pine.
