19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Buffet with Carrara Marble represents the epitome of neoclassic understated elegance as interpreted by master French craftsmen! Utilizing indigenous, highly revered French walnut, The rectilinear casework was designed with two cabinets framed by full fluted columns with Doric capitals. The cabinet doors feature exquisite works of the sculptor's art in bold relief depicting a garden basket bursting with the bounty of nature, along with various gardening implements and ribbon tying it all together. Both doors are meticulously framed and fitted with cast bronze key guards that complement the pulls of the top tier which contains a pair of fluted drawers, each framed by oval sunflower rosettes. Bold base molding and turned feet complete the walnut facade, while the top is covered in luxurious Carrara marble of the perfect color to blend with most any decor's palette.
