About the Item

Custom Designed Louis XV Style French Provencial Vaisselier. This refers to a two-part cupboard used to display China and kitchenware. This example is designed around two 18th Century molded doors flanked with architectural columns and old painted finish. Made by Hastening Designs in 2004. 100" High 78" Wide 23.5" Deep An elegant and substantial custom-made Louis XV style French Provincial vaisselier, designed and crafted in 2004 by Hastening Designs. Inspired by 18th-century French country cabinetry, this piece seamlessly blends traditional craftsmanship with a refined rustic aesthetic. Executed in solid wood with a soft, hand-applied antique patina, the vaisselier features classic fluted pilasters, paneled doors with carved ribbon scroll motifs, and a richly molded cornice. The upper portion includes three open, fixed shelves with vertical paneling, ideal for displaying ceramics, glassware, or collectibles. The lower cabinet offers generous closed storage with two doors opening to a shelved interior. The subtly distressed painted finish evokes timeworn French elegance, while the proportions and detailing ensure it sits beautifully in both classic and transitional interiors. A distinctive, designer-quality piece that brings the charm of Provencial design into contemporary living. A timeless statement for the kitchen, dining room, or library- offering both elegance and function in one beautifully crafted cabinet!
