French 1800s Buffet with Two Drawers, Two Doors, Burl Panels and Cross Banding

About the Item

A French buffet from the early 19th century, with two drawers, two doors and burl accents. Created in France during the early years of the 19th century, this buffet features a rectangular planked top with canted corners in the front, sitting above two drawers adorned with cross banding and fitted with ornate hardware. The lower section showcases two doors with scrolling molding surrounding burl panels. The buffet is raised on four feet, the front ones being scrolled and the hind ones straight. Completed with a carved apron accented with a central medallion, this buffet circa 1800 will bring a touch of French elegance to any living room or dining room.
