French Art Deco Cerused Oak and Mercury Mirrored Sideboard, Eugene Printz, 1930

About the Item

Rare and Important French Late Art Deco sideboard, buffet, cabinet or console circa 1930 in the style of Eugene Printz. The piece has a refined, sober form and an exquisite combination of materials. The body is in dark oak that has been cerused shades of green. This blends with the 4 mirrored doors that have been hand crafted with a mercury patina producing a soft, dreamy cloudy effect. Finally, the cabinet is elevated on 2 sober block legs allowing it to exude its beauty. In total, a unique French work of art.
