Late 18th Century Country French Buffet

About the Item

Late 18th century country French buffet. Original steel hardware & escutcheons. Cherry & poplar. Two drawers over two doors. Well carved throughout the front with bold sprays of leaves ending in florets, rosette between the drawers and well shaped apron with extensive cohesive decoration centered by a bold flower. Raised on short molded cabriole legs ending in escargot feet. Typical old worm damage. We are a family business that has been a major source for the selective buyer for over 90 years.
