A most elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany, ormolu, and Rose de Brignol marble buffet. The buffet is raised by fine circular tapered fluted feet with ormolu sabots and mottled foliate top caps. The apron displays a beautiful and uniquely designed beaded ormolu band while elegant fluted columns with fitted foliate ormolu chandelles lead upwards flanking the door. The door displays an attractive recessed panel with finely detailed floral rosettes at each corner and a lovely richly chased pierce foliate keyhole escutcheon.
