About the Item

Pair of Neoclassical style malachite and gilt bronze commodes French, 20th century Measures: Height 87cm, width 84cm, depth 38cm This superb pair of neoclassical style console tables is wrought from malachite, gilt bronze, and mirror—the malachite being a later, beneficial veneer. Each commode, raised on malachite faceted tapering legs atop gilt bronze toupie feet, features curved and open side profiles.
