Beautiful Provençal walnut kneader - Pétrin, with hinged tray to open on top, 2 "gendarme hat" doors, perforated crosspiece and interior tray This piece was used to knead dought whe peopled still made their own bread at home; it was then use as a decorative furniture in houses, but still for storage Buffet made in Provence were the most delicate ones, and were special gifts for weddings Good condition, the 2 rear legs have been re-entered Buffet early 19th century Height 90cm 150 x 59 cm US Shipping by air freight: this piece requires professional packing due to size, weight, fragility UE + local shipping: depending on final destination, professional packing is not necessary Please feel free to contact us for quote
