About the Item
This elegant vintage bench-made shaker style pine sideboard with angled sides would be a stately addition to a dining or living space. Handmade by a gifted woodworker, likely in the late 20th century with reclaimed wood and beadboard, this piece offers ample storage in the deep drawers and is accented with vintage brass pulls. The slender legs are stable and the sideboard is strong. The top is held to the base with a series of inset dowels, see photos. The waxed finish has a buttery, gold glow. There are random scratches and imperfections in the wood, most noticeably on the top, as well as color variations in the wood, which add to the rustic nature of this piece.
