About the Item
Designed by Franco Poli for Bernini in 2003, the 0+1C sideboard belongs to a refined collection of living room furniture, recognizable by its soft lines and essential design. The distinguishing element is the elegant structural handle that runs the length of the cabinet, imparting a sense of formal continuity and understated elegance.
Made of natural walnut, the sideboard features four large drawers that offer generous storage capacity. The base is raised by a transparent frosted plexiglass plinth, which gives the entire volume an effect of lightness and visual suspension.
A harmonious example of contemporary Italian design, combining functionality and style with craftsmanship.
Designer: Franco Poli (b. 1950) - Master of contemporary Italian design
Franco Poli is a refined and distinctive voice of Italian design, known for his elegant and timeless aesthetic. Born in Padua in 1950, he trained in Venice and developed a design language that harmoniously blends craftsmanship, innovation and formal sensitivity.
Since the 1970s he has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Bernini, Poltrona Frau, Fasem, and Tisettanta, creating furniture with pure lines, often characterized by a sculptural lightness and a refined attention to materials such as wood and leather.
Poli is particularly valued for his ability to combine functionality and poetry, qualities that have made his pieces sought after in the collectible design market. Winner of the ADI Compasso d'Oro award, his works are featured in exhibitions and permanent collections, confirming him as a leading figure in the Italian design scene.
