19th Century Rustic Store Display Case with Distressed Painted Finish

About the Item

19th Century Rustic Store Display Case with Distressed Painted Finish was custom designed for a store owner to display as well as keep additional stock of small items for sale. Three platforms for display include the lower and upper which open to provide access to the storage within, with the added feature of three glass panes both above and below allowing one to see exactly what was stashed inside. The case could be mounted atop a counter or table, or used on the floor. It was given several finishes over the decades, two of which are white and turquoise colored paint which has achieved a lovely distressed look over time, only adding to the piece's charm. An excellent choice for a child's room to keep toys both handy and put away neatly, yet still instantly available. Circa 1890s Measures 32H x 38W x 33D
