About the Item

A handsome 19th Century two-piece gothic style oak cabinet. Beautifully carved and finished grapevines along the top and arms of the piece. A warm smiling face carving above the top of the vine carvings on either side of the front. Ventilated brass ornamental hinges are placed with red paint accents. The rest of the features on the cabinet stand in contrast with sharp, carved features. Includes key. In good condition. Some gentle wear consistent with age and use. “E 95” is marked on the back of the piece. Otherwise, no obvious markings are present on the piece. This cabinet would make a great feature in any home. It would serve as a great place to store valuables such as clothing or other personal items. Would also work as an antique cabinet for China or to store bar items.
