This 2 doors cabinet is a handmade and modernized interpretation of a French Directoire style cabinet at the end of the 18th century. The design of this period is remarkable with its straight, classical and timeless lines with diamonds or grooves on the front.
The 3 drawers fronts are assembled with dovetails for a better durability
The doors have 2 key entries, 1 key and 1 working lock
The 2 shelves inside are adjustable on wooden racks.
The finish is a natural slightly whitened oak stain with an "elefant-gray" home made stain for the top, grooves and central diamond .
The sourcing of this solid oak comes from sustainably managed French forests.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
This Cabinet is also available in French solid cherry wood.
