Antique Burled Walnut 2-Piece Bombé Form Cabinet
About the Item
Burled walnut two piece cabinet in a bombé form with arched carved foliate crest surmounting two conforming individually glazed doors. The doors open to a two fixed shelf interior, with double plate rails, side glass panels, all over three long shaped drawers, each adorned with scrolled ormolu hardware, canted corners, carved apron and resting on heavily carved hairy paw feet. Comes with working key.
Dimensions: 88" H, 18 1/4" D at feet, 53 1/2" W
Condition: Various acceptable signs of age include a few minor stable age cracks, minor veneer losses, a few professional veneer repairs especially to left side. Acceptable wear consistent with age. Please see detail photos for condition.
