C. 1968 Myrtle Desk of High Point 900 Series Four Position Credenza in Walnut

About the Item

This is a substantial 900 Series Walnut and Chromed-Steel Credenza, model 9CR 75, designed in the late 1960s by Myrtle Desk of High Point, North Carolina. They referred to the piece as a "Service Unit" in their catalog. It features walnut veneer surfaces, and has chromed-steel accents with coordinating drawer pulls. The piece has a laminate top that is of the same hue as the walnut sides. The unit measures 20 inches deep, 75 inches wide, and 29.25 inches high. There are some scratches on the top surface and the front, and there is patina on the legs and the pulls. There is also some chaffing to the wood veneer along the bottom of the piece. Overall, this credenza is in very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
