Dutch designers Atelier Tejo Remy & Rene Veenhuizen is always experimenting with new techniques and (recycling) materials to create living spaces and furniture Tejo Remy is most famous for his chest of drawers 'You can't lay down you memories' for Droog Design 1991 This cabinet is a case study that derived from their experiments to create a Bamboo chair By weaving steel packing straps that are normally used in the packing industry for e.g. cotton bales into an organic structure the vintage oak Dutch cabinet transforms into an artwork The piece can be wall mounted as shown in the main photo Another possibility is to use a 1950s "Reform" table frame by Dutch functional designer Friso Kramer as illustrated in the photo's.
