About the Item
The Qing-dynasty cabinetmaker who designed this handsome two-door cabinet was a master of their craft, and elevated the joinery to a new artistic level. This monumental Chinese cabinet was constructed with mortise and tenon construction, without the use of a single nail or screw. The beauty of the cabinet is not only in the elegant lines and highly polished wood, but in the complex joinery concealed beneath the surface.
