Chinese Qing Dynasty 19th Century Red Lacquer Cabinet with Doors and Drawers

About the Item

A small Chinese Qing Dynasty period red lacquer side cabinet from the 19th century, with double doors, two drawers and brass hardware. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this side cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a red lacquer finish. It showcases a rectangular top with central board, sitting above two doors. These doors, made of recessed and raised panels, open thanks to a rectangular brass plate with ornate pulls to reveal inner shelves. The lower section presents two drawers fitted with ring pulls on circular plates. The ensemble is raised on four short feet with carved aprons on three sides. We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is an antique piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture. With its clean lines and red lacquer, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period side cabinet from the 19th century will bring a pop of color to any living room, hallway or foyer.
