Qing Dynasty 19th Century Side Cabinet with Black and Brown Lacquer

About the Item

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period side cabinet from the 19th century with custom black and brown lacquer, two drawers and two doors. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this side cabinet features a rectangular with central board and beveled edges, sitting above a perfectly organized façade. Two drawers, each fitted with a brass c-scroll handle on rectangular plate, open to reveal a dovetail construction revealing the piece's age. The lower section presents two doors fitted with a traditional brass medallion with delicate pulls, opening to a dark interior with shelves offering convenient storage opportunities. The ensemble is raised on four straight legs. In addition to its calm and clean lines, the cabinet presents a newly and professionally done finish boasting black and brown tones. With its elegant silhouette and striking colors, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period side cabinet from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed in a living room or bedroom!
