Cuban mahogany cabinet by William Watting for William Watting Furniture

About the Item

A very rare and elegant cabinet in Cuban mahogany with brass feet and handles, by the American designer William Watting who lived and worked in Denmark in the 1950's and 60's. It opens with 2 tambour doors that are inserted to the side to give access to the storage spaces, which contrast with their light maple veneer; 3 drawers with brass handles open just below, as does a small sliding shelf on the right-hand side. This is a refined yet functional piece of furniture, produced by his own company, William Watting Furniture.
