About the Item

This exquisite Swedish 18th century period Baroque box on stand is unique by the quality of its carved panels as well as its two hidden drawers. All its hardware is original. The stand is antique but later made. Aside from storing valuables, this is a great conversation piece or problem solver in any room. Like any Swedish Baroque boxes and coffers from the 18th century, this box will lock by itself once you close the lid. Make sure to always keep the key on the outside of the box; otherwise you might not be able to open it again!
