Patina Perfection!! A rare, likely one-of-a-kind monumental sized antique Pennsylvania general store cupboard / mercantile cabinet. Born in PA in the early 19th century, featuring rustic hand-crafted one-piece solid wooden construction in the original pale green sage paint decorated finish with light cream accents and mellow warm patina over the whole. Hand-crafted in traditional New England Colonial / American country industrial taste, having a simple cornice adorned tall two door cabinet, opening to reveal shelved interior and pine plank boarded back, over a trio of drawers affixed with industrial metal pulls, atop two slant-front drop door storage bins. Dimensions: (approx) 92.5" High, 63" Wide, 23.5" Deep Large scale and oversized proportions, ideal for your farmhouse kitchen, used as a sideboard / buffet, or displayed in your period bed and breakfast. Provenance / Acquisition: Acquired from reputable auction house Bright Star Antiques, Sulfur Springs, Texas. They have been specializing in American country antiques and industrial architectural salvage for over 25 years. Great original antique condition. Presents splendidly, especially considering it's around 200 years old. Strong, sturdy and structurally sound, enhanced with nicely aged naturally distressed patina.
