English Chippendale Style Carved Mahogany Lion Paw China Display Cabinet Empire

About the Item

Vintage English Chippendale style solid mahogany carved china cabinet or cupboard. Drawing inspiration from Neoclassicism and Empire design. Made of mahogany featuring carved accents with sawtooth crown over Gothic fretwork doors divided by high relief lion head columns, neoclassical ribbons, alternating fluting and floral medallions. The base features hairy paw feet, 8 dovetailed drawers and a central cabinet accented by oval wreaths for accessory storage. Includes round brass pulls for upper drawers and lower batwing style bail hardware. DIMENSIONS 21" x 81" x 85.5"h
