About the Item

A fine large English estate or collector's cabinet (or compendium), from the Edwardian era, featuring a three-quarter gallery top over two paneled cabinet doors of flame-cut mahogany, each door with arch moulding, set upon a raised plinth base. Opening to a divided cupboard interior, with two adjustable shelves on each side, over a set of seven numbered collector's drawers on each side, totaling fourteen drawers in all, each drawer with two knob pulls.
