French Art Deco period curtained filing cabinet in solid oak, 1930s
About the Item
This important notary piece of furniture, also known as a curtained filing cabinet, has a very beautiful overall finish and a very good vintage state of conservation, without major defects. Note a restoration on the bottom of the furniture, bottom right, a hole in the wood has been filled. Dating from the 1930s, it is in the Art Deco spirit. The bottom lock has been changed so that the bottom curtain can be opened and closed, while the top curtain no longer has its lock, which is not a problem because it is not necessary. The furniture is therefore perfectly functional. We added a shelf to the lower part that was missing.
