Italian 18th Century Louis XV Period Patinated Wood Deux-Corps Cabinet
About the Item
A beautiful and extremely decorative Italian 18th century Louis XV period patinated wood and polychrome deux-corps cabinet. The four door cabinet is raised by elegant cabriole legs below a fine scalloped apron. The two lower doors are each decorated with lovely recessed designs of beautiful red scrolled movements set on a charming yellow background and are separated by fluted designs opening to reveal one shelf and all original hardware. The two doors above are decorated in a similar manner with circular mottled reserves opening to reveal two shelves and also revealing all original hardware. Above is the beautiful curved top crown also displaying similar scrolled patinated red movements with a circular mottled central reserve.
