About the Item

A tall Italian painted-wood hutch cabinet, with wire-front doors. This vintage hutch from Italy, standing approximately 8.25 feet in height, has a two-piece buffet à deux-corps design (which references the two cabinet parts). The upper case, which is more shallow in depth and set back, has a nicely emphasized top cornice, atop a pair of doors with chicken-wired panels, which open to reveal shelving within. The lower case houses a pair of recessed-paneled doors, allowing for hidden storage within. The cabinet is presented upon four spade-carved feet, giving it a nice lift and height from the floor beneath. This item breaks down into two pieces, allowing for easier transport and installation. Primary coloring, which we believe to be original, is a soft blue with a creamy/yellow showing through underneath. Please note that we will be adding a middle shelf in the upper section of this cabinet. This vintage Italian hutch, with its nice height and soft blue coloring, will offer great storage and display options for your home!
