Japanese Antique Black Tansu / Storage Cabinet / Taisho Period WabiSabi

About the Item

It is a cedar cabinet used in an old Japanese house. It is dyed black using the traditional Japanese dye "black Urushi". The top and bottom are layered, so you can use it separately. An old iron object is attached to the handle, and the hemp string is an accent.
