Japanese Antique Mall Glass Cabinet / Cupboard / Showa period WabiSabi Japandi

About the Item

It is a mall glass cabinet of the Showa period with a simple design. The mall glass used is a valuable glass with a thickness of 2 mm that is not manufactured in modern times. It softly hides the things to be stored inside. Oak is the main material. The vertical shape can correspond to various installation locations and has a presence because of its height. The upper and lower parts overlap, so you can also use the upper and lower parts separately. The shelfboard can be adjusted in height, so you can change the height according to what you want to store. This display shelf is carefully made by craftsmen. In addition, we are also particular about the texture and color of the wood, creating a natural and warm atmosphere. Weight: 40kg

  • Mid-Japandi Walnut & Glass Triptych Cabinet
    Located in London, GB
12H's Triptych cabinet is a beautifully designed storage solution, perfect for those who appreciate thoughtful craftsmanship. Made with enduring FAS-grade American walnut wood and brushed brass handles. Its facade is separated into three panels; however, the walnut doors fold into one another to reveal one ample shelving space. The third cupboard uses tinted fortified glass to create a semi-opaque facade that can be opened with a slight push. Inside are four pull-out drawers that are perfect for neatly storing an array of belongings. The Triptych Cabinet takes after mid-Japandi design, balancing subtle retro detailing with a simple sophistication that feels timeless and effortless. An ideal storage unit for living rooms, home offices and hallways. Never limited by aesthetics, Zeng Qiang and his studio, 12H, are a testament to design evolution. With a young team of creatives, they test the limitations of design and craft. Whilst also paying homage to a craftsmanship style that heavily relies on ancient techniques. 12H does not cater to the trends and whims of furniture design; instead, they forge ahead with works that will stand the test of time. Their credo: A marriage of all things traditional with modern elements— making them truly unique. - Mid-Japandi cabinet...
