This antique sliding door stacking cabinet was crafted in the Taisho Era (1912-1926). Made of zelkova wood, it features a textured surface with a rich patina, showcasing the beauty of its natural grain and the character developed over time. The sliding doors highlight the elegant grain of the zelkova wood, creating a calm and refined impression. The design is simple and unembellished, making it easy to integrate into various spaces. Its structure consists of a separate bottom section and an upper three-tier unit, giving it a substantial yet refined appearance. The bottom section is equipped with wooden dowels to prevent the upper section from shifting, ensuring stability when stacked. The aged patina and weathered details add to its wabi-sabi charm, embodying the timeless appeal of antique furniture. As a antique piece, minor scratches and marks may be present, each adding to its unique charm and the story it tells over time. Cleaned and disinfected with non-toxic solution.
