This is a large antique buffet server. An English, mahogany side cabinet with display tiers, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840. Striking buffet, with beautiful colour and open display shelves Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout Delightful colour, with rich caramel hues beneath a wax polish finish Arranged as a trio of graduated tiers, supported upon fascinating C-scroll risers Upper tier finished with a distinctive wavy edge apron Generously sized, inset drawer to the mid point, with blind pull Pair of cabinet doors accentuated with carved leaf moulding Right hand door dressed with a brass lined, inset working lock — key present Left hand door opens to reveal a pair of plate slides, with a trio of shelves opposite This is an exceptional antique buffet server, presenting a finely crafted, generous proportion and graced with wonderful colour and decorative flourishes. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
