About the Item

A late 18th century original painted folk-art cabinet from Southern Germany/Austria. An authentic piece of furniture with exceptionally beautiful patina. The original painting is almost completely preserved. Single-door pinewood body with bevelled corners and profiled cornice. Wood-like and glazed in the comb-pull technique, as well as with frame fields, ornamentally and florally painted. Hand-forged door hinges. Original door fittings, lock and key. Inside, the cabinet has a fixed shelf. An extended interior is possible by arrangement. Dimensions Height: 172.5 cm / 67.91 inch. Width: 112.5 cm / 44.29 inch. Depth: 60 cm / 23.62 inch. Shelf depth: 49 cm / 19.29 inch. Good condition with slight signs of age-related wear. Feet newly added. Ready for everyday use. The cabinet cannot be dismantled for transport.
