A Chinese late Qing Dynasty period red lacquered compound cabinet from the early 20th century, with raised panels and carved friezes. Created in China during the late period of the Qing Dynasty in the early 20th century, this compound cabinet captures our attention with its red lacquer finish and raised panels. Showcasing tapered lines, the upper section presents two doors opening to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers, sitting above low-relief carved scrolling foliage. The bottom part is made of two drawers over a pair of double doors with additional hidden drawer. Raised on four short feet with horse hoof extremities and boasting a nicely weathered patina, this red lacquered late Qing Dynasty cabinet from the early 20th century will bring a pop of color to any living room, bedroom or kitchen.
