About the Item

This long, low and sexy media cabinet was acquired in the early 1970's as part of an executive suite for a boutique resort entrepreneur's private office. The collection also included a pair of Pierre Paulin F598 Lounge Chairs, a grouping of Kazuhide Takahama modular Marcel seating elements for Gavina and a Vico Magistretti Coffee Table. All of these pieces were complementary to the cabinet and characterized by the simplicity of their organic forms and soft edges. This cabinet is constructed with premium quality materials and has been completely restored to the highest possible standard of excellence. Unfortunately it is unmarked so we have been unable to identify the precise manufacturer but its form is tantamount to similar cabinets of the mid 20th century designed by Warren Platner for Knoll - Vittorio Introini for Saporiti - Hans Von Klier for Skipper and Kazuhide Takahama for Simon-Gavina. This piece is set apart by its unique form, minimalist aesthetic, lack of hardware and well engineered proportions. If you are looking for a cabinet that is completely unique, you have no need to look any further. Please let us know if you have any questions.
