About the Item
These striking oak bookcases are a true find as it is difficult to obtain a matching pair. The professionally applied (newer) black painted finish is lightly distressed to fit the age and character of the pair.
Interior shelving is adjustable with removable wood pegs to move shelves. Note in photos that top decorative triangular crown is removable as well making each display case customized by the buyer.
These bookcases have been restored, are sturdy and ready to use. Original locks may be challenging to use, so if buyer prefers the keys may simply be used as pulls.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this dramatic pair of bookcases.
